About Us

A Message from Chief Inspiration Officer, Lane Robinson

This overview is kind of long, but hey - I'm an old woman. I've always been a worker, and it's crazy to think I've been working for 53 years. When I was younger, I felt like Scarlett O'Hara and now, as a sage elder, I'm definitely more like Professor McGonagall. I loved working so much that I never settled down with a partner, didn't have kids, and traveled the world as an independent consultant mentoring other people to help them be more successful. And now, I'm focused on leaving a legacy that I sincerely hope helps ease pain and suffering for millions of people in the next several years.

During the last ten years of learning to live for the lesson and not the loss; I created, honed, toned, tested and perfected the Compass Program for Navigating Life after Loss. It combines nearly three decades of wisdom gained through coping with physical pain and symptoms that still linger from a brain injury; being a lone traveler without a partner or family; and being on the road in Europe and North America for almost two decades helping other people be successful. But, the good news is that I triumphed by turning my pain into purpose.

The Compass Program takes students on a journey from shattered to stability in just six weeks. It is simple. It is insightful. And it works. I channeled Scarlett and Minerva and used their grit and magic when I created it. I still work with clients one-on-one who want to experience it and also support organizations who want to offer it.

My first exposure to life-derailing lost occurred in 1998 when I sustained a life-threatening brain injury in a car crash. I was evaluated at Craig Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver and told I would never work again. In the prime of my life - I was forty, fit and fabulous and had a two-year old independent, international management consulting practice that was just taking off. The doctors advised me that I needed to take anti-depressants, pain killers and sleeping pills and prepare for life in a wheelchair as I lived off the insurance money I would get from suing the man who was cited for reckless driving after T-boning my car.

None of what they recommended made sense to me so I didn't do anything the doctors recommended - no pills, no lawsuit, no wheelchair. My brain was so messed up that I didn't even collect money from the insurance company and never applied for disability benefits from the government. Instead, I turned to Eastern medicine and Eastern practices to heal myself - found my sixth sense - and became an energy healer and medium. I've also written four books - an Amazon best seller about Y2K preparedness; Enlightened by Accident - The Awakening of a Psychic Medium; Stress Free Success - Where East Meets West; and the book I believe every household should have Organic Grief - A fresh, natural approach to healing after loss. The books are all exceptional in their own way, but I don't focus much energy promoting myself, so you won't see hundreds or even dozens of reviews, but please judge these books by their covers and check them out at Amazon. (As the first person in my family of origin to ever graduate from college, a BA in English Education from Colorado State University was the foundation for me being the writer and teacher I am today. And, I feel fortunate to have earned an MBA at the University of Colorado at Boulder.)

About ten years ago, I realized that I was kind of an expert at recovering from loss. And that began a long journey of losing and learning. You name it. I've lost it. I've lost several homes, had every memory of my life stolen from a storage unit (every photo that wasn't digital, every treasure from world travels, the family recipes, my grandfather's footlocker from Pearl Harbor, and my most cherished possession - my grandmother's mixing bowl. And her exquisite entertaining linens and dishes, and all of her holiday decorations were taken as well. So my heart especially goes out to those who have lost homes and possessions in natural disasters - the toughest part is the guilt). Three months after the storage unit burglary, I lost my 27 year-old nephew to suicide. And then I lost my heart and companion Stewart - an 8 year old orange tabby cat - when we were exposed to black mold in a 110 year old adobe house in 2023. It all sucked but the wisdom gained is priceless.

If you are interested in offering a healing solution within your organization, to clients or community that offers people who are suffering from devastating loss a framework in which to deal with their grief  OR if you feel inspired to transform your grieving journey (or both), then please schedule an assessment session with me so we talk about the possibilities you and I can create by working together.

Lightwalker is a WAY OF LIFE centered on life-long learning and evolution and a determination to banish the pain and darkness experienced after loss and replace it with light-based vital force energy.

Our Logo

The Lightwalker logo was designed by an incredibly talented and magical artist - Diana Eccher of Third Eye Designs.

The logo was originally inspired by the koi fish. Depending on the origin of the spiritual tradition, the koi symbolizes courage; perseverance; tenacity; transformation; and abundance. These are the fundamental qualities of Lightwalker. After Diana completed the logo design, it was evident that the glow around the fish reflects the basic premise of Lightwalker - radiating light and vital force energy. The fish is swimming upward toward a new opening. The dark blue circle is reminiscent of the moon - the place where humans find solace. The light blue represents clear communication and water (a powerful cleansing and healing resource that is fundamental to human survival).
